The band's repertoire is eclectic in nature, including movie themes, musicals, current pop/rock, big band style pieces and light classical.

We are always open and enthusiastic to new members joining the bands and our exciting social network. In addition to our Concert Band, we also have a Training Band intended for developing musicians or those returning to playing after a lengthy absence. The recent addition of a Big Band provides musicians with an opportunity to perform a swing/jazz style of music.

Rehersals

Each of our bands rehearse on Wednesday evenings in Berwick. We aim to enjoy making music and the social aspect of rehearsing together each week and entertaining the community by performing approximately every two months. We are always open and enthusiastic for new members to join and become part of the band and our fun social network.

Aimed at musicians of all ages from AMEB Grade 3 standard and upwards, the Concert Band has around 50 regular members playing woodwind, brass and percussion instruments. Casey Concert Band is always welcoming to new members.

Our Training Band is also aimed at musicians of all ages but who may not feel quite ready to join the senior band. Its membership comprises of a mix of members, ranging from young musicians playing with a band for the first time to older players returning to a band after several years, as well as some members of our senior band who are learning a new instrument.

Aimed at musicians of all ages from AMEB Grade 3 standard and upwards, the Big Band is made up of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, rhythm and percussion instruments and plays big band standards and a variety of swing/jazz music. Casey Big Band is always welcoming to new members.
